Identifying your passion and making sure that your career aligns with that passion is extremely important. While most people know what Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is, I think it is worth mentioning. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs states that one must first meet their physiological needs, safety, long and belonging, esteem, and then self-actualization to be a completely fulfilled person. I believe that identifying one’s passions, and living them out satiates the needs identified in the “esteem” and “self-actualization” categories of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
Women have made many strides in the workforce, but has it come at a price?
“Anything you can do, I can do better…”
Whether you want to believe it or not, people judge you on the way you present yourself to the world, basically, how you dress and carry yourself.
I believe that you should dress for the position you want, not the position you have. Thoughts and actions have power. If you exude passion and confidence in the way you carry yourself, treat others, and dress, you will attain success. You become what you think and believe every day! Just as words have the power to breathe life or destroy, so do your thoughts. You are worth it, dress for success!

We all wish we had more time. More time with a loved one before they passed away, more time to study for that final exam – or write that essay, more time to prepare for that big meeting, or more time to enjoy that popsicle before the sun melted it away. We all wish that we had more time – more life to live, but the reality is, we have only a certain amount of time on this earth – so make it count.
Today was a day full of meetings. After sitting stationary for so long, lunchtime rolled around and I went out for sushi; then I was back to my desk again. While sushi is definitely a tasty, and most times healthy choice, when you get busy it seems that everything else – including physical activity falls to the back burner.
